Rules
These are our general track rules. It is expected that these rules be followed at all times to ensure a safe track experience for all. Please direct any questions regarding our track rules to the drag strip supervisor on duty. These rules are subject to change or be modified at anytime.
Pit Area
The pit area is not the drag strip. the speed limit is 10mph and will be strictly enforced.
Absolutely NO glass bottles are allowed in the pit area.
Pit vehicles are only to be operated by State Licensed Drivers and must clearly display the race car number on the pit vehicle.
Staging Lanes
Owner must stay by their vehicle at all times.
No alcoholic beverages of any kind are allowed in the staging lanes.
Vehicle may not move into starting line until directed to do so by track official.
Our officials will choose the lane you will run in and you will run against another racer
Single lane runs will not be permitted if their are other vehicles in the lane
During an event do not come to the staging lanes unless your class is called.
Starting Line
Our track officials will tell you if you are in the left or right lane. You MUST go into the lane they choose.
Please do not proceed onto the track until the track official has given you the ok.
Please do not start your burnout until you have been instructed to do so by a track official
Pit crew bands will only be issues with your driver present and during tech inspection. Once the vehicle has been inspected no pit crew bands will be issued.
During A Race
If you encounter a problem while racing please pull over to the side of the track.
Tech Inspection
Clothing – No shorts, tank tops, or sandals.
No Cracked or broken windshields.
No fluid leaks of any kind.
No loose items in vehicle
Any vehicle with t-tops, convertible, or targa top must wear a helmet .
Vehicles running faster than 8.49 must have a helmet.

Children
Children are not permitted to run any vehicle except for an IHRA approved Junior dragster during our test n tune or events.
Children are not permitted to ride or drive any pit vehicle in any area of Central Florida Racing Complex.
Children under 18 years of age will not be issued a pit crew band.
Scooters and 4 Wheelers
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
BRAKES: Front and Rear Mandatory.
CHAIN GUARD: Mandatory.
CLUTCH COVER: Mandatory
IGNITION: Functional “kill” switch Mandatory.
THROTTLE: All throttles must incorporate a “snap back” response action.
TIRES: All vehicles must utilize “smooth” roadway type tires. Dirt type tires are Prohibited. In addition to the above, all vehicles must have a properly secured seat, foot pegs, and handle grips.
RIDER REQUIREMENTS
HELMET: SN-90 or newer mandatory.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: Leather or Kevlar jacket mandatory. Leather or denim pants mandatory. Leather gloves and above the ankle boots mandatory.
LICENSE: Valid State drivers license mandatory: IHRA competition license mandatory if entry runs 6.40 or quicker in the 1/8 mile.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
NITROUS OXIDE: PROHIBITED.
WHEELIE BARS: May not exceed the wheelbase of the vehicle.
STARTER: All vehicles must utilize OEM starter.
FUEL: Nitromethane is PROHIBITED. This includes any fuel mixture utilizing Nitromethane.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
ATV and Scooter riders are allowed 1 pit person in the burnout box. Pit crew must be over 18 years of age and have a pit band with vehicle number on it.
